• Analytics and progress — Calculated on-device only
• Settings and preferences — Stored on-device only

We use Apple's SwiftData framework for secure, local data persistence. Your information never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export or share it.

🚫 What We Don't Collect

HabiTrait does not collect:

• Personal identification information
• Email addresses or contact information
• Location data
• Usage analytics or behavioral data
• Device identifiers for tracking
• Any data transmitted to external servers

🔐 Security Features

We've implemented additional security measures to protect your data:

• Face ID / Touch ID — Optional biometric protection for app access
• On-device encryption — Your data is encrypted using iOS security standards
• No cloud sync — Data remains exclusively on your device

📤 Data Export & Sharing

You have full control over your data:

• Export — You can export your habit data at any time through the app settings
• Share — You can share progress screenshots or summaries—this is always your choice
• Delete — Deleting the app removes all data permanently

🔔 Notifications

If you enable reminders, HabiTrait uses Apple's local notification system. These notifications are processed entirely on your device and are not routed through any external servers.

👶 Children's Privacy

HabiTrait does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app is designed for general audiences interested in personal development.
